STRENGTH/PERSONALISED

Strength

Strength is a cornerstone of our health and well being. These classes will take you through strength programs to help build confidence, capacity and power so you build strength, gain muscle mass and bone density to support a healthy active life. 
The programs may be personalised for your specific goals or needs of you can join the group and go through a periodised program to build strength, balance, co-ordination and range of motion safely and effectively.

HIGH INTENSITY

Functional Fit

The research says we need to lift, but it also says we need short bouts of high intensity exercise to be healthy and reduce the risks of cardiovascular disease. Functional Fit is that high intensity session using a variety of functional tools and a variety of movements with a focus on driving the intensity up. Come with the mindset to challenge yourself and work hard. This session is open for all levels as we can all get working to our own level of high intensity.

MOBILITY

Mobility Moves

In our busy lives we often forget to do the things that help us rest, recover and heal. Mobility Moves is a time to take for yourself to connect back with your breath, calm your nervous system and release tension in your body. The goals of the session are individual with a process of helping to balance your posture, enhance range of motion and ease of movement and recover in preparation for your next workout. Work + Rest = Success so don’t skip out on your mobility moves session.

MOBILITY

3D Fit

3D Fit is about variety, rhythm and integration. Our body has an amazing ability to move and most of our modern life segments our movement into individual body parts. 3D Fit aims to put the body back together and promote it moving in a coordinated and integrated unit. The movements are the focus with changes in heights, distances and directions plus a variety of tools giving your body a new challenge with each movement. Feeling rhythm is the focus of 3D Fit rather than intensity but when you get the rhythm and load yourself correctly then the intensity can build into a great workout. You will leave feeling loose, mobile, refreshed and happy.

HIGH INTENSITY

S&C

S & C is a high intensity group with a short sharp strength component followed by a conditioning block that will challenge you in ways you didn’t think possible. Sessions will start with some focussed mobility and then a lift, then a block of conditioning with a specific goal in mind. The goal could vary from aerobic endurance, muscular endurance, power, heart rate recovery, anaerobic endurance. Come along and test yourself.

Ladies Fit

Ladies Fit is a circuit based workout for ladies over 55 of all fitness levels including just starting out.  We will help you build confidence in your body, gain strength through resistance weights, work on your cardio fitness, mobility, balance & posture that will make those everyday tasks easier like gardening, getting off the floor or picking up grandkids, all while having fun with other like-minded women!

Gareth is dedicated to helping others achieve health and wellness. His journey began in New Zealand, completing a BSc in Anatomy in 2007 then returning to Australia, where he discovered and nurtured his passion for fitness and performance. Bringing his vision to Wanaka, Gareth has created a space where individuals of all fitness levels feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow. With 16 years of experience and a commitment to empowering others, Gareth leads e3 Fitness with heart, knowledge, and an unshakable belief in the power of movement.

People get private coaching sessions for 2 reasons…

1. They have some short term immediate or acute issues that need some specific attention. Think of injury rehabilitation, reservations about starting, short time frames for the goals they have.

2. They want constant coaching, guidance and accountability. They want a guide by their side every step of the way and want to commit to regular times each week to help achieve their desired goals.

Can I try a class before committing to a membership?

Definitely, e3 Fitness is a unique offering in the Health and Fitness industry so we offer a 3 day trial to help you get a taste of the different SGT sessions we offer and to see if we are the right fit for you. Contact us if you want to do a 3 day trial.

What’s included in a Club e3 membership?

The core elements of our memberships include access to our SGT sessions, 24/7 gym access and personalised programming. All of our memberships are listed above so you can see what is included with each level and the different costs. Remember, joining e3 is about making it work for you. How do I get started?

Who is club e3 for?

Our members affectionately describe e3 as the gym for broken people, or the gym for people that don’t like gyms. I will elaborate… Firstly, our mobility sessions and Gareth’s unique knowledge and skills help to rehabilitate and improve movement and strength in anyone. You may be recovering from major surgery, have chronic issues like back pain or have annoying niggles that stop you being able to move the way you want, then e3 is the gym for you as we can help restore your movement, reduce pain and discomfort, build confidence and strength to be able to expand your movement capacity and quality of life. Second, unlike most gyms, we have no mirrors, no annoying thumping music (although I cannot guarantee you will like Gareth’s music choice) no expectations and an actively nourished culture of acceptance of who you are an where you are at. We want to get little wins first and one of those is to get you to enjoy the session you participate in. Many of our members identify as ‘non gym people’ who all feel comfortable in the e3 Fitness environment. Give our 3 day trial a go and try our unique offerings like Mobility Moves, 3D Fit and Fit Humans to get a personalised and enjoyable experience with us.

Can I join club e3 if I am injured or recovering?

Absolutely, our mobility moves sessions are perfect for you to get moving again and we actively work with Wanakas best Physios, Osteos and Chiros to help support you through your injury and recovery process. Our philosophy is founded on being able to breathe and move well so we can start there and then help you develop the confidence and strength to move with more speed and load.

Does the 3 day trial include free access to the gym?

No, the 3 day trial allows you to experience our unique SGT sessions, it doesn’t allow for free gym access.
